Client Innovation Fellowship

Colleges seek students who focus on exploration during high school and bring that spirit to life through practical experiences. The Client Innovation Fellowship is an excellent starting point! This pseudo-internship allows students to concentrate on career development in a specific area and apply their knowledge directly to job-specific tasks in the real world. Our available clients work in public interest technology, geospatial environment, and community health sectors.

Accepted Fellows must take two related prerequisite courses through IDEA, aligning with the skills needed to deliver effective solutions for industry-level projects. Students will complete fieldwork and engage in client initiatives to address real-world problems.

To be considered, students must attach a resume to their IDEA application in the “Supplemental Materials” section. This role requires initiative, skill, and a willingness to pursue career-focused projects, which should be demonstrated in a traditional resume. Program Coordinators will facilitate initial client-Fellow contact, but like typical internships, students are expected to take on leadership roles. While challenging, this Fellowship is ideal for students ready to embark on their internship journey.
